Drivers will be obliged to use, starting today, the low beam lights during daytime on all categories of public roads in Romania.
The decision is contained in the amendments to the Emergency Ordinance of 2022, promulgated by President Klaus Iohannis and published on Tuesday, June 13, in the Official Gazette.
Failure to comply with this obligation results in a fine and two penalty points. Until now, the use of dipped beam during the day was only mandatory on European motorways, expressways and national roads.
