SRI Director in Parliament on the Ukrainian border situation

The director of the Romanian Intelligence Service (SRI), Eduard Hellvig, is expected next week in Parliament, at the meeting of the Parliamentary Commission, for exercising control over the SRI activity, in order to discuss the security situation in the extended Black Sea area and on the eastern flank of NATO.
The decision to invite the SRI director to Parliament was taken by members of the commission, who want to be informed about security developments on Ukraine's border.
The chairman of the commission, Senator Cristian Chirtes, argued that new situations arise every day and every parliamentarian has questions for the SRI leadership, our reporter, Petruta Dinu, transmitted.
