Spectacular performances at Bucharest International Air Show 2018
Thousands of aviation enthusiasts were thrilled by the spectacular performances at the BIAS 2018.

Over 100 pilots and elite parachute jumpers, and around 150 civilian and military aircraft from 13 countries have attended the 10th edition of the Bucharest International Air Show and General Aviation Exhibition (BIAS) that took place on July 28 on the Aurel Vlaicu International Airport and Romaero.
This year’s edition has been attended by participants from UK, the US, Turkey, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Spain, Austria and Romania. Among aircraft displayed on the ground for the public at the Băneasa Airport was the NATO-commissioned Boeing E-3A Sentry AWACS (Airborne Warning and Control System), part of NATO’s early warning system, involving multinational staff, Romanian included.
US Air Force (with the F-15 Eagle), Flying Bulls, British Royal Air Forces, Austrian Air Forces, Greek Air Forces (with the Mirage 2000, produced by Dassault Aviation), "Supersonic" Turkish Stars (with the NF-5), Romanian Air Club (Hawks of Romania, White Wings, and parachute jumpers from the Blue Wings), Romanian Air Forces (with F-16 Fighting Falcon, MIG 21-Lancer,, IAR 99 Şoim, IAR 99, IAR 330 PUMA, IAK 52, C 130 Hercules and C 27 Spartan), Czech and Hungarian Air Forces (with the JAS 39 Gripen, produced by SAAB in Sweden), Valer Novac with the Ka-26 Chopper, TAROM (with the Boeing 737 individually or accompanied by F-16), Jurgis Kairys, a legend of air acrobatics, Polish Air Force Team ISKRY (7 TS-11 ISKRA), Italian Air Forces (with the Eurofighter Typhoon), Spanish Air Forces (Boeing F-18 Hornet), German Air Forces (with the Eurofighter Typhoon and Tornado) – they all performed world-class air acrobatics, enchanting thousands of aviation enthusiasts.
