Romanian Parliament approved in a joint meeting on Wednesday the setting up of special committees to update legislation in the field of national security and to draft the Administrative Code.
Representatives of the Social-Democratic Party (PSD) believe that laws in these areas must be debated in special committees, while the opposition lawmakers - PNL, USR and PMP - have declared that the Power continues the steps to politicizing all state institutions and public administration.
Newly established committees are made up of 15 members from all parliamentary groups and have a six-month term for drafting the laws in the fields concerned, with the possibility of extension.
