Sorin Bejan, Radio Romania News, is the winner of the "Golden Maple" Awardfor the best tourist film (international selection) presented at the International Festival of Documentary and Short-feature Movies JAHORINA 2019 - Pale, Bosnia and Herzegovina (25-28 September). Bejan’s production was titled "Where to travel? Evia Island, Greece".
Evia Island, second in size after Crete Island - over 3500 square km where the tourists can find a place of tranquility or travel. Charming cities and villages that make a stay a dream come true. Evia still has the authentic charm of a legendary Greek island, unspoiled by hotel chains, souvenir shops and masses of tourists. So beautiful, and yet so ... unknown. Although the second largest island in Greece, after Crete, the Island of Evia seems to be hiding from tourists in a shadowy cone. Sorin Bejan, Director of "Where to travel? Evia Island, Greece", managed to highlight aspects of this beautiful island less known by tourists and travel agencies.
28 countries participated in the 2019 edition (13th) of the Jahorina International Festival, with 79 productions in various sections of this competition.
