Soldiers from the Republic of Moldova are participating these days in the "Fire Shield" exercise in Romania

Artillerymen of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova are participating in the bilateral exercise "Fire Shield 2023", which is being held in Romania, reports MOLDPRES.
According to the superior of the Moldovan contingent, Lieutenant-Colonel Anatolie Cojusnean, the artillery platoon is made up of officers, sergeants and soldiers from the "Stefan cel Mare" Motorized Infantry Brigade.
The soldiers of the National Army of the Republic of Moldova are training alongside artillery structures from the Romanian Land Forces, at the Secondary Combat Training Center Smardan.
The "Fire Shield" joint training exercise is held annually, since 2015, at the training grounds in the Republic of Moldova and Romania, and is included in the National Army Training Plan for the current year.
