Sibiu: Quarantine will be lifted on Monday morning

The authorities of Sibiu County have decided to eliminate the quarantine in the municipality of residence and in the seven other localities, after the infection rate in the entire county decreased from over 9 to 3.65 cases per thousand inhabitants.
Therefore, tomorrow morning at 5:00 the municipalities of Sibiu and Medias, the cities of Cisnadie, Talmaciu and Avrig, the communes of Selimbar and Orlat and the village of Marsa will exit the quarantine state.
In the city of Sibiu, which has been in quarantine for a month, the infection rate has dropped from over 13 cases per thousand inhabitants to 5.13, according to the latest report.
The county prefecture notes in a statement that the joint effort of all Sibiu residents during the four weeks of quarantine has led to a much lower transmission of the virus.
However, the authorities recommend that the people of Sibiu continue to respect the measures imposed in the state of alert, transmits our correspondent, Carmen Vulcan.
