During July 5-July 9, cyclists will have to ride 734 kilometers, in four stages plus the Prologue.
The absolute novelty of this edition is the participation, for the first time in a Romanian tour, of a team from the United States of America, the organizers announced today in a press conference. It is the UnitedHealthcare Pro Cycling Team, which has an enviable track record: it has won 18 national titles in the US and two world titles.
The start of the Sibiu Cycling Tour Prologue will take place on Wednesday, July 5, at 18:00, in Huet Square, and after a 2.3 km ride through the historic city center, cyclists are expected to arrive at the finish line in the Grand Square of Sibiu.
