Sibiu County, again on the 1st place for covid infections

Sibiu County is for the second consecutive day on the 1st place in the country regarding the incidence rate for the last 14 days, which today reached 6.89 cases per thousand inhabitants.

Today, 282 new cases of infection were reported alongside 4 deaths.

Also, the number of positive patients who are treated or monitored in isolation at home has increased a lot, 1216, and in quarantine at home there are almost 800 Sibiu residents.

All 19 Intensive Care beds in the county hospitals, dedicated to adult patients with COVID, are occupied. Also, a child is hospitalized at the ICU department of the Pediatric Hospital in Sibiu.
