Sheep upside down holiday in Argeş
For over 2 days, Saturday and Sunday,at Rucar,in Arges, the manifestations occasioned with the traditional sheep upside down holidays are going on.

At this end of the week, we invite you at Rucar in Arges where it takes place the sheep upside down.
Hot maize porridge ball filled with cheese,cheese bladder, Rucar cheese, cheese, soft cow cheese, maize porridge with cheese and milk, maize pudding or roast sucking pig or spitted calf.
You can find all these in a holiday atmosphere and in an exceptional natural frame in Rucar-Bran passage, where at this end of the week takes place the sheep upside-down holiday.
The most waited moments are horses competitions under the name" Go, horse! "and the one of the shepherd's dogs, as the gastronomical products exhibition with shepherd's specific.
For well over 32 years here ,each autumn takes place the Expo pastoralis Festival, in a holiday atmosphere, which gather residents, villagers from around or tourists from all over the country and abroad.
As the Rucar area is known for the growing of animals, especially the one of sheep, Expopastoralis Festival promotes this occupation.
This year,the participants to this event come from touring areas as Bran, Moeciu, Şirnea or Câmpulung Muscel.
The manifestation begins on Saturday, at 12 o'clock, with the traditional clothes parade and then it will take place a chinological competition.
For over 2 days here, demonstrative exhibitions of domestic animals, symposiums and shows in the open air.
