Sergiu Nicolaescu has died
Director Sergiu Nicolaescu, aged 82 years, died Thursday morning at the Elias hospital, said the spokesman of the hospital, doctor Valentin Calu.

In the last 48 hours in the evolution of film director Sergiu Nicolaescu was heart and lung severe complications which not responded to intensive treatment and that they lead to death today at 8.20, specifies the Elias hospital.
Sergiu Nicolaescu was admitted to the intensive care unit of the Elias Hospital being operated by peritonitis in December 28.
Elias Hospital representatives declared that the surgery took place "in the context of chronic digestive condition known as benign."

A week before admission , Nicolaescu had fallen while heading to his garage, he's suffering a chest injury, that has been broken a couple of ribs.
