In April too, at the Dacia Plant in Mioveni, production will be interrupted, due to the global semiconductor crisis.
If until now work has been interrupted for five days every month since the beginning of the year, in April the production will be halted for seven days.
Viorel Ungureanu, leader of the Automobile Dacia union, declared that "the need for stocks that can be insured for April was analyzed and it turned out that seven days are not covered with parts".
"The dates are as follows: April 1 and 2, April 16, 26, 27, 28 and 29, ie Holy Week. We anticipate that in the second half of the year we will not have such problems and to start in force, in order to recover the lost cars. Work on Saturdays, as overtime, is considered", Ungureanu added.
Around 9.000 employees will go into technical unemployment in the seven days mentioned in April.
