Interior and justice ministers of European Union member states, gathered in Bruxelles, postponed the decision on Bulgaria and Romania's accession in the Schengen Area.
Most member states seem to support the accession, but Germany, the Netherlands and Finland have conditioned it on the next report on justice, which will be published in December.
Romania seeks a change of strategy regarding Schengen accession and, together with Bulgaria, will initiate an offensive, as minister Radu Stroe named it, during which will have direct talks with all Schengen states, including with those that support the two countries, but especially with countries that still are reluctant: Germany, the Netherlands and Finland, RADIO ROMANIA reports.
