RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Save Romania Union and the Force of the Right submitted to the Chamber of Deputies a simple motion demanding the resignation of the Minister of Labor, Marius Budai, whom they accuse of incompetence and carelessness. The signatories claim that the minister has built a shield around special pensions, jeopardizing the billions that Romania would receive through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan.

Cristian Seidler, SRU deputy: "Mr. Marius Budai specialized in missing the NRRP milestones and this costs Romania billions of euros. He is the signatory of an emergency ordinance by which Romania misses the NRRP milestone regarding pensions in pillar 2, but which manages to save special pensions in Romania. At least for these reasons, Mr. Marius Budai should look for a job in the private sector."

Meanwhile, the senators again postponed the debate on the draft law on the reform of service pensions. They propose that the document be discussed in two weeks, after the ministries involved will send the budget impact assessment and specify whether this form of the project meets the milestones in the NRRP. The World Bank's response on this issue is also awaited.
