Members of the European Parliament, this week in plenary sitting in Strasbourg, have debated the Rule of law in Romania on Monday afternoon, in the presence of European Commission representatives.
In November 2018, European Parliament voiced concern about latest judicial reforms in Romania, warning that they might put the separation of powers at risk and undermine the fight against corruption.
There will be no resolution of the Parliament, Commission is to issue a statement.
