Romanians can enter Hungary without restrictions

The Hungarian police specified for RRA that Romanians can enter Hungary without restrictions, after the neighboring authorities re-established at the end of the week the so-called humanitarian transit corridors of the country, as an anti-epidemic measure.
The police are now clarifying that the measure does not target citizens of the European Union.
Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban had recently stated that these corridors will have to be used by all those who want to transit through Hungary, but the police report shows that only those targeted by travel restrictions in this country are obliged to use them, as they are citizens from countries outside the European Union.
Viktor Orban announced last week that Hungary could not yet comply with the European Union's request to open its borders to citizens of 14 states outside the community bloc, as this would run counter to the interests of protecting the health of the population, with one exception being Serbs, who can enter Hungarian territory as early as the end of May.
