Romanian women’s gymnastics team gold at Euro 2012 in Brussels
Romania won the European title with a total of 176.288 points after it dominated the final from the first to the last apparatus. The Romanian team was followed in ranking by Russia and Italy.

Romanian women's gymnastics team won the title of European champion Saturday afternoon in Brussels.
It is the first continental title of the Romanian team, after a break of four years.
Romania won the European title with a total of 176.288 points after it dominated the final from the first to the last apparatus, in front of the stands full of tricolor flags.
In the ranking competition in Brussels, Romania was followed by Russia and Italy.
The Romanian team was made up of Diana Bulimar, Larisa Iordache, Cătălina Ponor, Sandra Izbaşa and Raluca Haidu.
The team is prepared by Octavian Belu and Mariana Bitang.
In the first three days of competition, the tricolour delegation also obtained two bronze medals, at the juniors level , in the team competition and individually-composed by Andreea Munteanu.
The European Championships in Brussels schedule includes on Sunday apparatus finals for juniors (Andreea Munteanu at beam and floor, Alina Stănilă-vault, Silvia Zarzu-vault) and women (Sandra Izbaşa-vault, Cătălina Ponor-beam, floor, Larisa Iordache- beam, , Larisa Iordache - bars).
