Romanian soldier praised in Afghanistan
Caporal Ionuţ Adrian Văduva discovered a hand-made bomb in an area were soldiers were expected to start their patrol mission.

A Romanian soldier was declared "Hero of the Day" by the South Regional Command of the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan, according to a statement issued by Romania's National Defence Ministry on Thursday.
Caporal Ionuţ Adrian Văduva discovered a hand-made bomb in an area were soldiers were expected to start their patrol mission.
Mr. Văduva is a member of Romania's Red Scorpions team operating in and around the airport of the Afghan city of Kandahar, RADIO ROMANIA reported.
