Romanian prosecutors to step up cooperation with FBI specialists

Romanian prosecutors will intensify their cooperation with Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) specialists in the fight against money laundering, cybercrime and complex financial investigations in the coming period.

FBI chief Christopher Wray met in Bucharest with Prosecutor General Alex Florenta, and the two officials also agreed that the FBI will provide training sessions for Romanian prosecutors on investigating these crimes, according to a statement from the General Prosecutor's Office.
