Romanian Prime Minister Mihai Tudose is in Brussels today and tomorrow, where he will meet with European officials, according to the Government Press Office.
This is Prime Minister Tudose’s first official visit to Brussels, where he is accompanied by Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Victor Negrescu.
Romania and the Government in Bucharest will honor "all the commitments that were previously assumed" and Bucharest wants to "have a very good cooperation with the European partners": this is the message that will be passed on during the Brussels talks, according to Victor Negrescu.
”Prime Minister Tudose will have a meeting with the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker.
He will also talk to all the important high-ranking officials of the European institutions - the President of the Council, the President of the European Parliament and perhaps some of the Commissioners.
Obviously, we will meet with EU Commissioner Corina Creţu and EU Commissioner Franz Timmermans" Victor Negrescu announced.
Tuesday's meeting with Jean-Claude Juncker, European Commission President, and Frans Timmermans, the first Vice-President of the European Commission, appears on their agenda published on the EC website.
