Romanian President appoints PSD’s Mihai Tudose as PM

President Klaus Iohannis has signed, today, the Decree on the appointment of Mihai Tudose as Prime Minister.
Tudose, the Social-Democrats’ nominee, will now have to obtain the vote of confidence in the Parliament regarding the program and the list with the members of the new Government, according to the Constitution.
Today, the designated Prime Minister has had consultations with the leaders of the PSD-ALDE coalition.
PSD Chairman Liviu Dragnea said the list of Cabinet ministers and the Government program will be validated in the party's National Executive Committee, which will take place tomorrow.
