A Romanian officer was awarded by the US Army in recognition of his excellent participation in the "Saber Guardian" 2017 exercise. Award ceremony took place at the headquarters of the 4th Infantry Division ''Gemina''.
Lieutenant Victor Bogdan Bila was awarded the "The Army Achievement Medal" (AAM) by Colonel Glenn Schmick, commander of the United States 18th Military Police Brigade, in recognition of his involvement and support to the US troops during the "Saber Guardian" 2017, Romanian Ministry of Defense (MApN) announces on its Facebook page.
The young lieutenant is a role model, and when American soldiers who took part in that exercise hear of Romania, they think of their comrade Victor Bogdan Bila, said Colonel Glenn Schmick, according to MApN.
Lieutenant Victor Bila serves in the 400 Fleet Support Battalion “Feleacu”, logistic support unit of the 4th Infantry Division “Gemina”.
