PNL MEP Siegfried Muresan was elected rapporteur of the European Parliament on the financing of the European Ecological Pact.
From this quality, he will coordinate EP’s position on the investment plan proposed by the European Commission, a plan that would generate investments of € 1 billion over the next ten years.
In a press release, Siegfried Muresan claims that the objective is to reach a neutral economy in terms of emissions and to support less developed countries that need financing to reach a green economy.
He also says that, regarding the credit lines, he will ask that Romania benefits from support from the European Commission, European Investment Bank and European experts.
