Romanian gymnasts qualified for six EC finals
Gymnasts Sandra Izbasa, Diana and Amelia Chelaru Racea will represent Romania in six European Championships finals in Berlin. Ana Porgras failed to qualify for the uneven bars and beam finals.

Gymnasts Sandra Izbasa, Diana and Amelia Chelaru Racea will represent Romania in six European Championships finals in Berlin. Ana Porgras failed to qualify for the uneven bars and beam finals.
The Wednesday competition at the European Championships in Berlin delivered six qualifications for the finals for the female Olympic gymnastics team of Romania.
Sandra Izbasa had a good day and managed to qualify in first place for two finals, floor and vault.
Diana Chelaru qualified for the floor and individual all-around final, and Amelia Race will take part in the individual all-around and the vault final.
Ana Porgras, who suffered from left shin pain, missed the two finals in which she took part, uneven bars and beam.
In the overall standings for the individual all-around final, Diana Chelaru ranked 3, Amelia Racea 26, Sandra Izbasa 63 andAna Porgras 71.
Russian Aliya Mustafina won the qualification contest with an all around score of 59.750.
The qualifications will take place on Thursday in the competition for men, in which Romania will be represented by Flavius Koczi, Vlad Cotună , Andrei Muntean and Andrei Ursachi.
The individual all-around finals for men and women will take place on Friday and the apparatus finals on Saturday and Sunday.
