Romanian Dana Spinanț to be the new EC Deputy Spokesperson

Spokesperson of the next European Commission headed by Ursula von der Leyen will be Eric Mamer (French), and Deputy-Spokesperson will be Romanian Dana Spinanț.

German Jens Flosdorff will serve as Executive Advisor for Communication for the President of the European Commission, according to a statement released in Brussels.

Prior to nominations, Eric Mamer has been Director within the Commission's Directorate-General for Internal Market, and Dana Spinanț has been Director within EC Directorate-General for Regional Policy.
