Romanian Cultural Institute has branches in 18 major cities outside Romania.

Romanian Cultural Institute is successfully promoting Romanian personalities around the world, creating bridges from Bucharest to all major capitals and spreading the word on Romanian literature, arts, traditions, science and history.
Below are some of the events the Romanian Cultural Institute has organized abroad in 2018, year of the Great Union Centenary:
London: Memorial statue of Queen Marie of Romania unveiled in a ceremony at Elwick Place, Ashford.
British Museum London: President of the Romanian Academy, Ioan Aurel Pop, talked about the making of Great Romania.
Amsterdam: Concert “Rhapsodie Roumaine”, performing works of Romanian Grandmaster George Enescu.
Brussels: "Polyphonic. Animated Poetry and Music" - A multimedia poetry show celebrating the Centenary of Greater Romania with readings by ten of the most talented Romanian young poets of diverse ethnic backgrounds.
Rome (courtesy of RCI Venice): Exhibition "Great War and Unification of Romania".
University of Padua, Italy, one of the oldest universities in the world, evoked the role the Romanian and Italian women had in the First World War, and Queen Maria was especially mentioned.
Stockholm: Romania has participated in the Göteborg Book Fair.
Chisinau, Republic of Moldova. First Romanian Astronaut in Cosmos, Dumitru Prunariu, attended an international conference.
Istanbul: A series of unprecedented events took place in 2018 and are to continue for another month and a half in 2019.
