Romania celebrates, on 20 July, Aviation and Air Force Day, marked by a military and religious ceremony at the Monument of the Heroes of the Air in Aviatorilor Boulevard, Bucharest.
The military ceremony is performed by aircraft from the Romanian Air Force, aircraft belonging to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service, as well as the independent team of aerobatic pilots on their YAK 52 airplanes produced in Bacău.
