The United States Ambassador to Bucharest, Hans Klemm, has congratulated the Romanian authorities in the context of the recent announcement made by the US Defense and Security Co-operation Agency regarding the possible acquisition of seven Patriot missile defense systems.
Romanian Defense Minister, Adrian Ţuţuianu, who met today with the US Ambassador, expressed his belief that the implementation of this program will strengthen Romania's defense capability, strengthen the Eastern flank of NATO and develop and strengthen the Strategic Partnership between Romania and the US - a press release issued by the Romanian Ministry of Defense says.
