Romanian authorities assure that the traffic on the Danube is carried out in optimal conditions.
According to the director of the Waterways of the Lower Danube River Administration, Florin Uzumtoma, there are now 15 ships stationed on different segments of the river, but this does not block traffic.
These are ships that loaded or unloaded cargo from Ukrainian ports on the Danube, including Reni and Ismail, which were bombed by Russian forces on Monday.
