Romania between heat wave, rain and storms
The National Meteorological Administration has updated the heat warning and has announced that on Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures of 38 degrees will be recorded in the Danube Valley and Bărăgan.

On Tuesday and Wednesday temperatures will exceed 35 degrees in south and east Romania and 38 degrees in the Danube Valley and Bărăgan according to the National Meteorology Administration that has updated the heat warning.
Thermal comfort index exceeded the critical threshold of 80 and on Wednesday and Thursday heavy rain and storms will be across the country.
According to the warning issued by NMA, from Tuesday at 12.00 to Wednesday at 18.00 high temperatures will be expected in the south and east of the country and the thermal comfort index will reach the critical threshold of 80.
Temperatures will exceed 35 degrees and in the Danube Valley and Bărăgan will reach 37-38 degrees.
According to meteorologists on Tuesday high temperatures will be registered in the western regions.
Starting on Wednesday at 9.00 until Thursday at 18.00 the atmospheric instability will increase in the west of the country and will gradually include all regions.
There will be showers that will also look like torrential rains, lightning and intensification of wind-looking storm.
Isolated amounts of water will exceed 2 inches and hail will fall’, according to the warning issued by NMA.
