"Romania will receive at least 600.000 AstraZeneca vaccines this month"

Prime Minister Florin Citu was publicly vaccinated with the booster dose against COVID, at the "Dr. Carol Davila" Military Hospital in the capital.
He said that Romania would receive at least 600.000 doses of vaccine from the manufacturer AstraZeneca this month.
Immunization schedules with this type of serum are set to begin on February 10, for people between the ages of 18 and 55.
The prime minister also said that from March the process will accelerate and we will transition to 50.000 vaccinations a day.
Immunization with the AstraZeneca vaccine is recommended for the 18-55 age group, with the possibility of increasing this interval, depending on new scientific data.
The recommended time interval between the two doses is 8 weeks.
