RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Romania will provide the Republic of Moldova with a new non-reimbursable financial aid amounting to 100.000.000 euros.
An agreement in this regard will be signed at the end of this week in Chisinau, on the occasion of the fifth joint meetings of the Romanian and the Republic of Moldova's governments.
Also this week, the government will debate a normative act that will complete the three financial aid schemes intended for the business environment in Romania.
Reporter: Andrei Serban: “Romania will continue to support the Republic of Moldova in the development of projects in the social and economic fields, and for this, Bucharest will provide a new financial aid, non-reimbursable, worth 100.000.000 euros. The agreement on this amount of money will be signed by the Romanian Prime Minister, Nicolae Ciuca and by his counterpart from Chisinau, Natalia Gavrilita, during the fifth joint meetings of the two governments. At the same time, other bilateral elections in areas of common interest will be considered, and this week the government will discuss the draft emergency ordinance that will complement the three financial aid schemes for the business community that has been affected by the pandemic. The Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism, Daniel Cadariu, specified that this normative act is necessary to conclude Measure 2, where there are still companies that have not been paid yet.
Daniel Cadariu: “Measure 2 is a measure where at the moment there are approximately 2.900 unpaid beneficiaries, with a necessary amount of 570.000.000 lei. We have the money provided in the ministry's budget, so we will have the opportunity to close Measure 2 in February."
Daniel Cadariu also specified that the aid granted in the Measure 2 program amounted to approximately 900.000.000 euros, money that benefited over 17.000 economic agents."
