The Supreme Council of Country’s Defense (CSAT) has approved, today, the participation of the Romanian Armed Forces with a naval capability at a NATO mission in the second semester of this year.
The National Strategy on Prevention and Proliferation of Weapons of Mass Destruction, established for 2017-2019, was also approved. It will aim at strengthening the capacity for rapid reaction and enhancing the inter-institutional cooperation.
At the same time, CSAT analyzed the risks and opportunities associated with the Energy field and established that for the sustainable valorization of Romania's energy resources there is a need, among other things, for an efficient legislative framework.
