Romania switches to winter time on Sunday, October 28, when clocks are turned back one hour. Thus, 4 o'clock becomes 3 o'clock, making October 28 the longest day of the year, (25 hours).
Daylight Saving Time (DST) - Clock Backward for winter does not change the current train schedule in Romania.
Winter time is to last until March 31, 2019.
This year, the European Commission has proposed an end to seasonal clock changes in 2019 and European Union Member States will have the freedom to decide whether to apply the summer or winter time.
