RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Romania's Gross Domestic Product in 2022 was approximately 1.400 billion lei, more than 8.4 billion less than the previous estimate, according to provisional data published on Thursday by the INS. According to new statistical information, economic growth last year was 4.1%, and not 4.7%, as previously estimated. The change was determined by the reduction in contributions to economic growth, both in terms of agriculture and industry, as well as construction, with all these sectors registering less activity in 2022 than previously estimated. The final data on the level of Gross Domestic Product last year will be published in the first part of 2024.
