Bucharest hosts two conferences on Thursday, part of events that are being organized by the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
One of the meetings refers to Hybrid Threats, the other to Digital Economy.
RRA Reporter Carmen Gavrilă: "Hybrid Threats conference, chaired by Romanian Foreign Minister Teodor Meleșcanu, aims at assessing hybrid threats such as aggressive actions of Russia in the region, from engaging with soldiers on the territory of Ukraine to information war and propaganda - more or less camouflaged in the classical press, but also on the social networks - or attacks of some Russia-funded hacking centers.
On the Agenda: discussions on ways to counteract and resist hybrid threats, including through strategic communication.
On Thursday afternoon, EU Telecom Ministers (TTE) are to discuss with their counterparts in Eastern Partnership - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Republic of Moldova and Ukraine - how to extend the benefits of the Digital Single Market to the Eastern European partners".
