Romania's Annual Rate of Inflation, the Highest in the EU

In March, for the third consecutive month, Romania's annual rate of inflation was the highest in the European Union.
According to figures published by Eurostat, the rate of inflation was of 4.4% in Romania, while in the EU as a whole it decreased from 2% in February to 1.9% in March. T
he annual rate of inflation also decreased in the eurozone, to 1.7%.
The highest rates were recorded in Romania, followed by Estonia and the Netherlands.
