Romania is switching to summer time
Articol de Radiojurnal, 27 Martie 2021, 23:42
Romania changes to summer time, so tonight, 3:00 becomes 4:00, and March 28 will be the shortest day in 2021.
The official summer time was introduced in Romania for the first time in 1932.
This could be the last time change, after the European Parliament voted in 2019 in favor of a proposal to waive this obligation at Union level.
According to the proposal, each Member State will decide, in 2021, what time it will remain in, standard time or daylight saving time.
Countries that decide to have daylight saving time will make the latest change in this regard tomorrow, the last Sunday in March.
