Romania in Exercise Sea Breeze 2017

Romania participates in the Multinational Exercise Sea Breeze 2017 (17th edition), scheduled for 10-22 July in the Black Sea, co-hosted by the United States and Ukraine.
There will be military troops from 17 nations, including NATO Member States.
The Exercise addresses a scenario specific to a crisis response operation. This year's participating nations include: Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, France, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Moldova, Norway, Poland, Romania, Sweden, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and the U.S.
At the Sea Breeze 2017, Romania is represented by the ‘Mărășești’ frigate, the ‘Rear Admiral Horia Macellariu’ class corvette, a marine infantry detachment, a detachment of combat divers and staff officers.
The Exercise is coordinated by the US Naval Forces in Europe.
