Romania exceeded 9.000 new cases of COVID-19 in a week for the first time.
The rate of positive results from the total number of tests performed also increased.
Moreover, the transmissibility index has reached over 1 again, which means that the epidemic is on the rise.
Yesterday's report indicated 808 new infections, a high number for a Monday, with a percentage of over 10 percent represented by the positive results of the almost 8.000 tests performed.
There were decreases in the number of deaths associated with the new coronavirus - 23 announced at noon, and also of patients in Intensive Care Units - 464.
So far, more than 90.600 people have been cured of COVID-19, out of the more than 113.500 diagnosed nationwide.
