RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - Romania has been extraordinary in its generosity and courage in the context of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, said US Vice President Kamala Harris.
During the joint press conference with President Klaus Iohannis, at the end of the talks held in Bucharest, Kamala Harris stated that the whole world has seen the support that Romanians have offered refugees.
At the same time, she said that the relationship between the United States and Romania is strong and lasting.
In his turn, Klaus Iohannis stated that the presence of the American vice president in Romania confirms the solidity of the transatlantic partnership and the attachment of the United States for Romania.
President Klaus Iohannis added that the ongoing dialogue and close coordination of the United States with Romania, but also with all allies and partners, have made an essential contribution to shaping the united and strong response of the international community to Russia's actions.
