Romania has a population of almost 19 million people

RADIO ROMANIA NEWS - The first data from the general population census reveal that Romania has a population of up to 19 million inhabitants, announced the president of the National Institute of Statistics, Tudorel Andrei.

By July 31, 95% of the country's population had been reviewed.

There are about four million Romanians outside of the country.

At the previous census, the one from 2011, the population of Romania was 20.12 million people.
