Romania has a new National Fiscal Authority chief
Dissatisfied with the poor collection of revenues, the PM dismissed Bogdan Stan and appointed Mirela Călugăreanu as Head of ANAF

The new President of the National Agency for Fiscal Administration (ANAF) is Mirela Călugăreanu, former Director of ANAF’s General Directorate for Tax Collection - Bucharest.
Mirela Călugăreanu does not belong to any political party and has 26 years of experience in both revenue collection and public administration.
Her appointment takes place after the former head of the institution, Bogdan Stan, was dismissed by Prime Minister Mihai Tudose, who was unhappy with the activity of the Fiscal National Authority.
The Prime Minister is also dissatisfied with the poor collection of revenues to the state budget. The decisions were published in the Romanian Official Gazette.
