Romania concludes Presidency of the Council of the European Union
Romanian EU Council Presidency managed to coordinate agreements on 90 legislative files on the EU Agenda.

Romania has concluded, on 30 June, its first Presidency of the Council of the European Union (January-June 2019).
Romanian EU Council Presidenty managed to coordinate agreements on 90 legislative files on the EU Agenda, and Romanian representatives in Brussels organized lots of cultural, touristic and gastronomic and other events, with the aim to promote Romania, said Romanian Ambassador to the EU, Luminiţa Odobescu.
Final mandate reports are now being submitted to ensure transition to Finland’s EU Council Presidency (July-December 2019).
Romania was congratulated in Brussels for the way it worked during its first EU Council Presidency, Ambassador Odobescu underlined, as quoted by Rador.
