Romania ascends for the first time in top ten most attractive countries in the world regarding the investments in Aeolian energy.
The last evaluations in the field, offered within a summit addressed to the field which took place at Bucharest, were confirmed also by the recent rapport of the consulting company Ernst&Young.
The director of programs and projects from the Association of Producers of Aeolian Energy from Romania, Darius Nath, states that in Romania exist extended surfaces engaged at Aeolian energy production.
“In the first place, we own a considerable surface of this country which is engaged for this type of investments, respectively the Eastern part, Moldova and the South-Eastern part, Dobrogea. Of course, there are also other areas in the Western part, a part of Banat and the mountain areas.
“If we compare it with the other states from Europe, the entire surface of Romania which is engaged for this type of investments, we see that we are situated good enough”, affirmed Darius Nath.
The energetic potential from the wind exploitation is about several tens of thousands of MW. The national energetic system is limited at only 2500 MW and this fact represents the biggest problem of which investitures are complaining.
“The actual system of energy transport limits our entire development to a quantity relatively small”, explains the director of programs and projects from the Association of Producers of Aeolian Energy from Romania, Darius Nath.
The amortization of the investment, “twice as fast as in Germany”
He specified that next year at latest could appear a saturation of the market.
“In my opinion, it will reach such a point relatively soon, possibly at the end of 2012 or 2013, as we are situated at this moment somewhere in the 800-1000 MW area already, and the plans for 2012 also include another thousand and something of MW”.
“This thing will determine that, at the end of 2013, we have somewhere around 3000 installed MW, cipher which is mentioned on absolutely all technical notices for connection, where the special mentions exist. Practically, it raises your attention, as investiture, that you will be connected at the network in the limit of 2500-3000 MW”, declares Darius Nath.
The legislation from Romania regarding the renewable energy is a “generous one”, also specifies him.
“The gaining of those who activate in this field arises both from the price paid by population for delivered energy and from the selling of green certificates received as a form of state help for supporting the green energy.”
“And the legislation finalized at the end of last year is one of the most generous from Europe.”
The amortization of the investment in Romania is “twice as fast as in Germany”, declares Darius Nath.
“Unfortunately, the presence of Romanian companies on this market is only of 20%. The rest is occupied by the branches of the big utilities companies from abroad, which are expanding even on an unoccupied market, with financial possibilities superior to those autochthones.
“The amortization of this business is accomplished in Romania in six years, while in Germany, for instance, the time for its reoccupation is double”, also affirmed the director of programs and projects from the Association of Producers of Aeolian Energy from Romania.
