Romania at the 23rd IHF Women's Handball World Championship 2017
Romania's National Women's Handball Team trained on Friday in Trier Arena, before Saturday's match with Paraguay.

Romania’s National Women’s Handball Team is preparing its debut in the 23rd IHF Women's Handball World Championship 2017, hosted by Germany from 1-17 December.
Romania will play in Group A (in Trier), alongside France, Spain, Slovenia, Angola and Paraguay.
• Saturday, December 2nd, at 15:00 (Romanian local time): Romania-Paraguay (debut match).
• Saturday, December 2nd: France - Slovenia (19.00) and Spain - Angola (21.30).
• Sunday, December 3rd, at 15:00: Romania-Slovenia;
• Tuesday, December 5, at 21:30: Romania-Spain;
• Thursday, December 7, at 19:00: Romania-Angola;
• Friday, December 8, at 19:00: Romania-France.
Group B (Norway, Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, Argentina, Poland) will play in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Group C (Denmark, Russian Federation, Brazil, Montenegro, Japan, Tunisia) will play in Oldenburg, Group D (Netherlands, Germany, Serbia, Republic of Korea, China PR, Cameroon) will play in Leipzig.
The top four teams of each of the four groups (A,B,C,D) will go to the eighth finals.
At the previous World Championship in 2015, the Romanian National Women’s Handball Team won the bronze medal.
Romania’s National Women's Handball Team is now being trained by Spanish Ambros Martin.
