Romania answers call for rescue operations in Australia
MAI response comes as a reply to the call of the EU Emergency Response Coordination Center (ERCC).

Romanian Ministry of Internal Affairs (MAI) responds to the call launched at European level and has forces ready to be sent to Australia – a statement says. President Klaus Iohannis has been informed about the resources Romania has for this assignment and will offer assistance in the shortest time.
MAI response comes as a reply to the call of the EU Emergency Response Coordination Center (ERCC), that has launched a call to all EU Member States to report resources they have available in view of intervention in Australia as a result of widespread fires.
