Romania is among the countries with the highest cost of gasoline in the world, calculated according to purchasing power.
According to a Bloomberg survey, of 55 countries, we ranked on the seventh place in the top which reports the gasoline cost share to average daily income.
In our country, the price of a gallon of gasoline Premium - of about four liters -amounts to 6.59 dollars - notes Bloomberg, the economic and financial news agency -while the daily income average in Romania is 26 dollars.
Basically, for four liters of petrol, Romanians are forced to give a quarter of the daily income average.
This calculation puts us on the seventh place of the scale.
Strictly to the price of gasoline, Romania ranks on the 34 place.
The price itself puts us in the top among one of the great financial centers of Asia, Singapore, and Chile. In Central and Eastern Europe, Slovakia has the most expensive gasoline, but compared to the population's purchasing power, the country ranks 19.
Depending on price, Slovakia is followed by Hungary, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Bulgaria and Romania.
Top 10 regarding the price is dominated by the developed European countries.
Thus, the most expensive petrol is in Norway, the country being followed by Denmark, Italy and the Netherlands.
It should be noted, however, that if the price is reported in purchasing power, all these countries are in the second half of ranking.
When creating the top, Bloomberg centralized the prices from April 2 to 11, but an important aspect is that the analysis did not take into account the poor countries, in which the inhabitants have a daily income average of fewer than 4 dollars.
