118 people lost their lives in Romania due to COVID-19. The last two deaths announced by the Strategic Communication Group are of a 54 year old woman from Constanța, nurse, returned from Turkey and a 61year old man from Bucharest.
Official statistics show that 445 new coronavirus cases have been reported in Romania in the past 24 hours. Overall, there are 3,183 COVID-19 cases on Romania’s territory.
There are currently 83 patients in intensive care, 13,531 people under institutionalized quarantine and114,646 people are isolated at home, under medical supervision.
Among the total number of people infected, 283 have been declared cured and discharged from hospitals.
