The Bucharest City Committee for Emergency Situations approved on Saturday the new measures to fight the coronavirus pandemic.
Starting with Sunday - shops, malls, agri-food markets will be closed from Friday to Sunday, starting at 18:00.
Also on weekends, in the capital, traffic for the general population will be allowed only until 20:00.
The gyms are closing.
The prefect of the capital, Alin Stoica, specified that for Bucharest other recommendations have been provided for avoiding congestion in public transport, in markets and malls.
Alin Stoica: The measures decided by the government yesterday were adopted and applied in Bucharest. In addition to the measures you know, we have had some clarifications, which are already provided in the order issued by the ministers, regarding public transport, primarily for the obligation that all passengers be informed about the need to carry a mask.
The Bucharest Transport Company stipulates the obligation to observe the circuit of entering through the front door, and exiting through the rear door, real-time tracking of congestions.
At Metrorex, congestion must also be monitored and passengers must be informed and guided in such a way as to avoid it.
In large malls there is an obligation to comply with a quota of 7 square meters for each person.
It should be noted that for vaccination, obviously, the hours provided for travel outside the home can be exceeded. In markets the rule is to use half the capacity of people they can serve.
